This is the only product for sale from the installation "From The Sea to the Market," the world’s first plastic restaurant, created on the island of Lombok. This provocative and stimulating artwork by Matteo Mandelli features a collection of 200 hand-painted pieces on waste collection bags from Indonesian beaches, reflecting the 200 kg of plastic collected by Matteo during the project. Each artwork underscores the connection between consumption and environmental impact. Part of the proceeds will be donated to organizations (Lombok Plastic Free) dedicated to cleaning Lombok. Once purchased, the artist hopes the collector will add their touch by using the bag to clean and collect plastic, transforming it into both a piece of art and an important gesture to display at home.
