The Performance

The Cryptotramp performance represents a journey across major European cities, where the artist lived as a modern-day "clochard" who accepted only cryptocurrency donations. This immersive performance challenges viewers to see past societal preconceptions, inviting them to engage with the invisible. By redefining the concept of "value," Cryptotramp transforms the streets into a space for dialogue on modern currency and humanity.

The Message

At its core, Cryptotramp questions what we truly value in our society. By embracing the vulnerability and anonymity of a wanderer while leveraging digital currency, the project asks audiences to confront superficial judgments. Cryptotramp provokes thought about inclusion, visibility, and the role of technology in our personal and collective interactions.

The Artworks

The Cryptotramp project culminates in a series of 1,981 unique photographs, each meticulously created by the artist wearing and assembling authentic materials that reflect a street dweller’s reality. These portraits combine the raw elements of life on the streets with digital innovation, showcasing an unfiltered, yet futuristic, view of modern existence.
